The Founder of the Trust Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, M.D. a Physician specialized in Endocrinology and the Managing Trustee Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, a Pediatrician and Adolescent Care specialist. Their vast exposure and rich experience in the field of Health care in India and Abroad conceived the idea of establishing educational institutions on par with the developed countries. The KMCH College of Physiotherapy is one among the pioneers in the field of Physiotherapy education since 1994, offering Undergraduate and speciality post graduate programs.
The college attached to KMCH is one of the few institutions in South India, with the advanced academic setup equipped with modern labs for exercise therapy, electro therapy and walking school and providing training in cardio-pulmonary rehab, sports pathology, gait training, burns care and fitness.
The institute offers comprehensive facilities for holistic training in physical therapy.
The college has been approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai.

Welcome to KMCH College of Physiotherapy, Healthcare is today seeing exponential growth. The practice of medicine cannot be limited to just “curing” the disease but demands the holistic restoration of the patient to their maximum functional potential. This requires the input of various personnel who constitute a healthcare team. A physiotherapist is a very important person in this team, and their role is pivotal in hastening recovery, reducing the hospital stay and returning the patients to their full functional status. The applications of technology in medicine is increasing and contributing to more effective therapy protocols. KMCH college of Physiotherapy has been at the forefront of training physiotherapists who are able to meet the demands of this profession in various scenarios across the globe.
