A Modern Approach
The students of KMCH College of Physiotherapy is attached with the Kovai Medical Center and Hospital - a 1000 bedded, multi-disciplinary, super-specialty hospital. The KMCH College of Physiotherapy is one of the few colleges in the whole of South India which is attached to a full fledged department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. It offers comprehensive Medical Rehabilitation care and comprise of three divisions, namely Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Prosthetic and Orthotic workshop.
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is equipped with all state-of-the-art equipments and staffed with fully qualified Physiotherapists. Students will get exposure to all conditions of patients in the department of Neurology, Neuro Surgery, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Cardiology and Cardio - Thoracic surgery. Further, they are posted in various Intensive Care Units and Community Center.
